    I have friends who crossed the border and filed for asylum after being detained. They're working their asses off just to survive - and yes, they're decent people.

    So now they know from experience that it's ok to do illegal stuff as long as there's an excuse and a loophole.

    And I'll point out the fact that if they were decent people, they would have come in through the Point of Entry and not entered illegally.
