    Hi ,gang

    After , Weeks it successly Upgrade my Synchronet to 3.16A
    I see on some bbs new users receive a Email to there BOX
    with a key , after it upgrade the level of their account

    i try to find this feature but can not find it in the SBBS folder

    does exist a BBS/web where these MOD exist ?

    The current stock Synchronet web interface can email new users their passwords.
    There are mods for doing this over the terminal server (e.g. telnet) as well: ftp://vert.synchro.net/main/sbbs_3rd/jsmailv.zip

    there's also one on vert from tracker and merlin which is a bit different (i think) but sends a code via email.

    Stock Synchronet does it as well as various baja mods that have floated around for quite some time. If you want to auto-validate someone without even having to hassle with email at all, you can check out the autoval mod on my board, I based it on the Mystic one when I wrote it.

    If you look in exec/logon.js, there is a commented line to
    load("emailval.js"), just uncomment that line (assuming you have mail setup
    to send properly).

    You may need to adjust the validation levels used at the top of emailval.js

    NOTE: I'm using sendgrid for my outbound bbs mail here, so the user's more likely to actually get it.
