Wat do the PSI Utilities do?
These commands have been
cloned to allow you to manage your files from
your OS/2 system:
- PATTRIB to
manipulate attributes associated with
files on your Psion;
- PCOPY(fr/to) to
copy a file from or to your Psion
respectively;
- PCOPYON to copy
a file from one directory+drive to
another within your Psion;
- PDEL to delete
files on your Psion;
- PDIR to list
files on your Psion;
- PMD to create
directories on your Psion; and
- PRD to remove
directories on your Psion;
- PREN to rename
files on your Psion;
- PTYPE to
display the contents of a file.
To execute these commands,
you need to install a server application on your
Psion.
This server supports all
S3 platforms that are available [which means
including the S3 (aka S3t)].
I regularly find applications which do not run on
the S3 anymore. Next to support for all S3xx
platforms there is also support for the S5. This
support is known to run on both the S5 as well
as the S5MX and Geofox 1.
