Last Name: Insert your last name. E-Mail Address: Insert your e-mail address. Sub-Domain Name: Insert sub-domain you requested from Dynip. E.G. For egon.dynip.com hostname entry would be egon. Domain: This is provided by Dynip and should not be changed. Type of Connection I have Is: Select "Dynamic IP" if you have as standard dialup internet connection using your modem. Select "Static IP" and enter IP Address in space provided to your static IP to Dynip. Register: Press this when information is filled in to have it register the information with Dynip Delete: Press this when you wish to discontinuing a sub-domain with Dynip. Refresh: Press this when infromation needs to be updated with Dynip Cancel: Cancels registation and takes you to the main DYNIP window. . Help: Displays THIS file. |

DYNIP.com Status: This gives a discription of the clients current connection. Deactivate/Activate: This is a toggle button that will activate or deactivate the client's connection to Dynip.. Exit: Closes the Dyndns2 client. |

Activate:
This causes the client to begin updating the infomation to Dynip.
Deactivate: This causes the client to stop updating the information to Dynip. Clear Status: This will clear the status window of all information. Exit: Closes the Dyndns2 client. |

Select this to bring up the Domain Settings window.
Advanced Domain Settings: Select this to bring up theAdvanced Domain Settings window. General Settings: Select this to bring up theGeneral Settings window. Browser Settings: Select this to bring up theBrowser Settings window. |

DynIP Server:
Input the name of the server supplied in the registration e-mail from Dynip.
Registration Key Transfer: Input the Registration Key information here that was supplied in the e-mail from Dynip. |

Minimize on startup:
Check this box if you want to start Dyndns2 in minimized mode. Meaning that it will not be displayed on the screen.
Window Mode: Select "Normal" to display the window with the status window on startup. Select "Condensed" to have the window displayed with only the title and menu bars on startup. Activate sub-domian on startup: Checking this box will have the client automatically begin updating Dynip when the client is started. Deactive sub-domain on close: This box will deactivate the infromation with Dynip when the client is closed. Beep on error: This will cause a PC Speaker Beep when the client encounters an error. |
