Due to the fact that it is free - and that it is a Beta - If it destroys your files, web site, or anything else for that matter - tough luck. You've been warned.
It has been tested and did not destroy the documents that I was working on.
Condition of Use
You MUST send an email to OS2software@yoursite.co.uk should you start up the software. This is not a please, maybe or whatever - it is a Must.
The program is still undocumented - and has only one restriction - being it will not automatically do previews.
It uses DEF files, which are editable either though your favourite INI file editor, or using the Tags -> Management option.
Should you make a Tag set, we would appreciate it if you email us with it.
We plan to make a large number of def sets, with HTML 3.2 and 4.0, as well as Netscape extentions and also broken up groups for quick reference jobs.
Breif instructions
Double Click to Insert Tags, Double Click on Attributes to Add them too, then double click on option - OR - select correct tag, then attribute and option and press apply and it will do it for you.
How do I make New Tags?
Go to TAGS Management and then choose or type the name of the definition file (maybe a new one) and the Tag Name, Description Open Tag and close tag, then say Add Tag.
Then type the first option name (and if the option needs a = after it - put it in the Option Name). For Multiple Option Values, seperate them by a Comma.
Also the option is now present for making 432 custom keys.
to do this, edit the files CUSKEY1.KEY -> CUSKEY12.KEY . If the file or a definition for the particular char does not exist in the file - it does not matter.
The format of these files is
CTRL_?, Tag Description for menu, Open Tag, Close TagYou do not need to define the close tag.
To select the Key Definition you wish to use, press SHIFT F1 through F12.
We will work on this program if we receive emails telling us people are using it.
