What is the big deal about 3Dfx's Voodoo1 and Voodoo2?
They are add-on 3D accelerator cards, and do not affect the operation of your existing 2D video card. An OS/2 user that wishes to get into extreme gaming in OS/2 will only need to drop a Voodoo1 or Voodoo2 card into their computer system - all without having to give up the existing video drivers.
What about Banshee and Voodoo3?
These 3D accelerator cards are integrated with a 2D video. There are currently, no OS/2 video drivers for the 2D portion of the card, with the exception of the excellent GRADD driver by SciTech.
Where did the source code come from?
