CALL FOR OS/2 PROGRAMMERS

The developers of mSQL PC, a relational data base server (free for non-commercial use) is calling for OS/2 programmers interested in helping with the product's development. Dirk Ohme, who ported using VA C++, and Gary Smiley (maintainer of ApacheOS/2), who ported using EMX, can't keep his ports at the same level of the Unix version.

OS/2 would benefit very much from an updated mSQL port. It is a real client/server database and it uses a subset of ANSI SQL, so it would be good for students and for small projects, which could grow into more powerful databases. mSQL has 100% Java drivers, REXX support and a built-in web gateway. The Unix version of mSQL is very successful as a back-end engine for web sites.
