   [2]A majestic spiral galaxy is shown with spirals of bright blue stars,

   Explanation: If not perfect, then this [7]spiral galaxy is at least one
   of the most photogenic. An [8]island universe containing billions of
   stars and situated about 40 million light-years away toward the
   constellation of the Dolphinfish ([9]Dorado), [10]NGC 1566 presents a
   gorgeous [11]face-on view. Classified as a [12]grand design spiral, NGC
   1566 shows two prominent and graceful spiral arms that are traced by
   bright [13]blue star clusters and dark [14]cosmic dust lanes. Numerous
   [15]Hubble Space Telescope images of [16]NGC 1566 have been taken to
   study [17]star formation, [18]supernovas, and the spiral's
   [19]unusually active center. Some of these images, stored online in the
   [20]Hubble Legacy Archive, were freely downloaded, combined, and
   digitally processed by an [21]industrious amateur to create the
   featured image. [22]NGC 1566's flaring center makes the spiral one of
   the closest and brightest [23]Seyfert galaxies, likely housing a
   central [24]supermassive black hole wreaking havoc on [25]surrounding
   stars and gas.
