Why Use Templeton?

The main purposes for using Templeton are:
  1. to copy HTML documents and images for use off-line
  2. to increased speed and reliability for accessing static web pages.

Who should use Templeton?

Let me first ask a few questions.
  1. Are you satisfied with the speed of accessing web pages?
  2. Are you not charged on a per-use basis for internet access?
  3. Do you only look at web sites once, or only view constantly changing web sites such as current news or weather?
  4. Have you never experienced data that was "here yesterday" but not today?
If you answer "YES" to all these questions, then Templeton is not for you.

Who should use Templeton? Everyone else.

Because Templeton essentially takes a "snapshot" of a web site, it's not useful for dynamically changing web pages such as current news or weather. But, since many web pages are static or slowly updated, such as technical reports, FAQ's, and most home pages, Templeton becomes ideal for bringing the web information to a local, more convenient, location.

The benefits of Templeton

A few of my personal experiences will illustrate wonderful many uses for Templeton:
