• Uncheck all audio CD tracks to import by default instead of check all?

    Hello,

Is there a way to tell macOS Ventura v13.6.3's Apple Music app's audio
CD import not to select all tracks to be imported by default? I only
wanted one or a few songs to check to import. Unchecking all unwanted
    tracks is tedious!

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering.

None I'm aware of. You insert a CD and Music will transcode and import all the tracks. Don't want them, don't use Music for playing your music. I tried BeaTunes which is more suited to DJ-type categorization and playing playlists. But it doesn't allow for remembering where you were on a long MP3 file (e.g. a Work From Home 4hour ambient track). Stop playing it and it will start over. They gave me my $ back.

There must be other apps out there that will detect a CD insert and do what Music does, but I haven't bothered looking for one. I so seldom buy CDs these days.

Try holding down the alt-key when unselecting a track.
Not sure if that works in Music, but in a lot of other apps holding down
alt while unselecting one item, unselects all. (Same for select of course.)
