Are you sure that this is a joke??? :(

Spalls never respected the majestic supremacy of the Heroes of Might &
Magic series and, in fact, often suggested that games like "Master of
Orion", "Civilization", or even "Ground Control" were better games.
That clearly mistaken assumption could only end up one way.

So I think its true.
