• Blocking TEMU ads

Sorry if this has been raised before.
TEMU ads are overriding everything when opening my Samsung A16 phone.
I do not have, and never have had the TEMU app installed, nor have I
    ever bought anything from TEMU.
I have looked at some online videos, but they either don't work for me
or the voice is so heavily accented that I don't understand them.
I am usually careful of sites I open, but this one has sneaked in somehow. Anyone help me?

Once, when I was testing cartoonify apps, full-page video loud obnoxious
ads started showing up IN THE APPs which I killed with Android 13 Galaxy Settings > Connections > More connection settings > Private DNS >
Private DNS provider hostname = adblock.dns.mullvad.net

If someone doesn't have a private dns set up, they can't complain about ads (why? Becausde it's the first thing anyone would do to prevent seeing ads).

Another time a one-page ad popped up suddenly, each only once a day, which turned out to be T-Mobile spam called "Sliide" from a T-Mobile app that I
had deleted but which came back after the software update was done.

Other than that, I've never seen an ad on Android (or Windows) that I can remember, but my phone & computer are set up from the start for privacy.

If I would guess it's your browser sending you these notifications. Have
you ever visited the Temu site? Do so and check the settings for that
    website.

FYI, I also get TEMU ads in some places (I forgot which), but they are
*not* "overriding everything everything when opening my Samsung A56
phone". It's not a general problem, only in a certain app or a few apps.
I think it was some Google app(s). I'll try to pay more attention and
    take notes next time.

If I would guess it's your browser sending you these notifications.
Within Settings, look for the permission "draw over other apps" then see
which apps have that permission (make a list in case you want to revert)
turn off the permission from apps which sound like they don't have a
    genuine need to do that.

That might work if I had TEMU app installed :(

No, it might work for *any* dodgy app that's being paid to display TEMU adverts ...
