Does anyone miss the old bulletin board days?

Back when I ran my BBS I usually got about 100 calls a day. As soon as Broadband internet came to town, my calls dropped to 6 calls per week.

But, with all the big corporations and government trying to get control over everything, the BBS community is growing again.

We also need everybody working on Internet 3

Internet 1 (We all know and use)
Internet 2 (Restricted to government and universities; been around about 20 years or so)
Internet 3 (Mesh, fully encrypted, no DNS, No DHCP requirments, no
    government or corporation dependencies).

It exist in small mesh networks around the world. It's tiny, like the BBS community originally was.

If you want it to grow, then you need to be working towards those goals. Establish a mesh network with others in your town, completely eliminating
DNS (MOST IMPORTANT). and encrypting everything.

Internet 3 is a work in progress, and you are part of it's development. We need everybody to help.
