    Been looking at some trailers and you tube stuff on it. Very questionable about what timeline its in, original or Kelvin.

    Well, "visually" doesn't matter. The effects guys do what they want to
    do and then the writers have to come up with some drivel that fans will hopefully buy. I'd respect it more if I knew the writers came up with
    this and then got the effects guys to re-do the Klingons to fit their
    story, but we all know that's not how it went down.

    Someone thought the Klingons were too boring and needed to be more "scary
    and edgy"... and the writers had to figure out a way to explain it so
    people wouldn't complain and refuse to watch it.

    It will be the original timeline, what we call now "Prime Universe".

    However, the "look-and-feel" will be upgraded, and they are facing the same critics that the Enterprise producers faced. But then again, we are at the

    second decade of the 21st century, we simply can't go back to the 1960's look-and-feel :)

    I know a few words, I think I could ask for a sandwich if I had to travel to Q'onos'. ;)

    There's the Klingon Language Institute where you can learn the language, (www.kli.org), and I heard somewhere that Klingon would come to Duolingo soon. :)

    I thought some of the fan films that captured the old look and feel
    worked quite well.

    The "Star Trek Continues" folks do very well with TOS. They're on YouTube.
    The sets are exactly like TOS....even the guy playing Capt. Kirk kinda favors him a little.
