    Every other week I get emails where I've "won" huge amounts of money
    from various lotteries I haven't entered, distant relatives that don't
    exist who have died, and high ranking officials in various countries
    who want to pay me to borrow my account to store money in. ;-)

    every other WEEK? I get dozens per DAY.

    I would probably get more, but the utterly hopeless Vodafone New
    Zealand (which jokingly calls itself an ISP) simply deletes all emails
    it thinks is spam. Not only does that not work because it misses some
    spam, but it also deletes legitimately wanted emails as well with no
    way to recover them. :-(
