Well I was putzing with Renegade and like the old version best.... the newest seems too homogenized (IMHO). In any event, I got TG up and running and fell in love with it. It has lots of whistles and bells, just what I was looking for. But... for the life of me I cannot figure out what TG does with it's dropfiles. I usually install LORD just to get a game up and running since it's the same routine as TEOS and Darkness. But where do I tell LORDcfg to look for door.sys? I have tried everything. It is not like RG even though there are similarities. And... it is great this echo still exists

This is from the Telegade ~TG\DOCS\FAQ.DOC

8.06 How do I handle doors in multi-node setups?

Door drop files are stored in /TEMPnnn/ under multinode
systems. When running doors under a multinode system, it
is suggested that you look at several things:

    (a) Can the door handle more than one node at once? If
not, you will need to use the script SINGLE.SCR -- read
    it for implementation instructions.
    (b) If the door can handle more than one node, it *should*
have the ability to point to the directory containing
the door drop files -- use /TEMP%1/ with the ~CN
command in your batch file to pass the node directory.

What Skuz said. It's in your BBS root directory, per node.

So mine is C:\TG\TEMP1 for Node 1, \TEMP2 for Node 2, etc.

My LORD menu uses DOOR.SYS with the DG command, and the command line
    looks like this:

    c:\doors\lord\start.bat ~CN

    And thar ya go!

TBH, getting doors to work was the easiest part of it all for me. Getting a working setup for a mail tosser and mailer was a bitch. Thankfully I had some help. Thanks, guys! =)

I should really get this thing finished and online soon.
