• Spitfire kaput?

From Steve Helferich@1:311/2 to All on Sun Jul 22 09:53:10 2018
Is Spitfire dead? I tried to run it the other day and instead of firing up
it says that I need to set the date and time first. Also, I noticed that
there is not a single board running spitfire listed on the telnetbbsguide any more. There used to be a few running it and I would call when I felt nostalgic. Spitfire was the first BBS software that I came across back when
    I first started calling BBS's.

I believe so. It's hard even to find it for download...

I still have a copy loaded here but I've done away with my POTS line so it's basically dead unless I decide to run NetSerial. I was tempted to get my old ~In The Wind~ Spitfire board up and running but the old 40meg hard drive it was on is now in the trash. Old HD's don't age well.. :(

Looks like I was using 3.6 instead of 3.7 by mistake. 3.7 works just fine. Even though the DIZ for 3.6 says its Y2K.
