I had to delete every single peice of software and document but I managed to free up enough space for the update that was released early this morning.
It's still downloading... I'll let you know if raptor fails or runs if it ever finishes. ;)

runs if it ever finishes. ;)Ok nice, keep us up to date ;)
Even after a factory reset it won't update. I've given up.
The Q5 is offered to whoever wants it for no charge. I'm done
with BrokenBerry.
Indeed the Q5 is a old device, i buy every new BB that comes out.
I hope you will find a device that you will like ;)
that's the problem with the world today, a 1 year old device is old and no good. it's a joke.

After many attempts both with WiFi and blackberry link and a number of factory resets the stupid thing updated last night.
i'm really not impressed with the way Blackberry did this update.

anyway, this is written with the new version of raptor. (staying on topic)
i'm really not impressed with the way Blackberry did this update.I thought your provider did the update <G>. They always add stuff or remove stuff, instead of leaving things alone.

True enough. :) Either way I'm happy with my decision to throw the Q5
out a window. :)
I almost got one of those. Changed my mind. then thought of the Q10,
and decided on the Z10. Had that for a year and got the Z30 Happy
with both of those. My wife now has the Z10
What device you are using now ?

I had the Z10 first, but it self destructed 3 days after the warranty
ran out. :( I've still got it because I have hopes one day I'll find someone who can figure out what's wrong with it.
Ha ok i see, if you where living in Belgium i have give you a new BlackBerry for free ;)
In most cases its not worth fixing these things. Cost more for a new circuit board and labour, then a new phone.
For me the 10.3.1 is mutch batter and stabler.
can not do anything on this, it's the choice of the provider the told me...
How do you like to new reply function i have add in, do you thing it easy to use now mutch better then before ?
Palm Treo 755p. It's just a temporary solution until I
figure out what I want. Truth be told if I could find a flip
phone that could act as a hot spot with the data I'd just do that.

I know you're correct. well if anyone needs a screen I have it then. ;)
I've gone back to the Q5 and after really researching the settings I almost have it working. For some reason email wouldn't show up on the phone until after I removed the accounts and set them up from scratch.
When I turned off the "Show wallpaper when no apps running" option notifications are better, still not as good as 10.2 but enough that I
can see the icons flashing now anyway.
Still not impressed with the update procedure. want a passport but
don't want to spend the money! hahahaha.
And a battery <G> It might however be a simple thing like a lose wire or something. Did it just crash and die, or something else?
was working fine, I plugged it into charge and went to bed by morning it was dead. if I put the battery in (or plug it in) the red light comes on and it sometimes gets as bar as the blackberry loading screen. other times not quite that far before it turns off again.
so the circle pops up allowing me to highlight text right away, is that your change or was that the new os? :)
runs if it ever finishes. ;)
