The preliminary round is over. Sweden, the Czech Republic, the Olympic Athletes
from Russia and Canada earn a quarter-final bye.

The teams ranked 5th to 12th remain in medal contention but will have to play a
qualification playoff game on Tuesday to determine the last four quarter-finalists.

Finland missed a quarter-final spot in the last game and will play winless host
Korea on Tuesday. Surprise team Slovenia, sixth overall, will get Norway as its
opponent while Team USA will play Slovakia. Switzerland and Germany, the teams ranked 8th and 9th respectively, will play it out in a neighbouring rivalry on Tuesday.
