    Hi all!

I'm happy to announce HotdogEd 2.13.5. Please update the editor and all providers you are using (this version checks version numbers to preserve database consistency).

Main features of this update include:

    - Android 7+ support.
    - Searching.
    - Virtual groups.
    - Scoring.
    - Overquoting deletion.
    - Some new quoted parts management when replying to the article.
    - Part splitting.
    - FTN-compatible networks support (with other domains).
    - FGHI urls local search support (area://)
    - Hardware keyboard articles navigation.

    Minor changes and bugfixes:
    - Images can be inserted to the message now also by "Add below...".
    - No more ugly (!) signs and formatting bugs.
    - Subject length check can be disabled in general settings.
    - Really many bugs fixed - please report them all to me.

Please see the documentation for filters, scoring, virtual groups and
    searching description:

I can't help stumbling on a one little thing. It was in previous versions and it stil is in this one.
When I select a FTN/NNTP server from initial menu or when I choose another area
to reply - there is a highlighted selection, which I can move with up/down arrows on a keyboard and then press enter. And that's great! :) But when I scroll the list of areas (or newsgroups) - there isn't one. Although, it actually *is* there, but it's invisible, for when I press the enter button - it
opens an area wich is currently under the invisible highlight-selection. For example: when I scroll down the list - it will be the last area on the screen, if I press up several times - it will be an area on a corresponding position from the bottom, etc.
So.. is it possible to make this selection visible everywhere? Would be very nice, since my new BT-mouse tends to turn-off after just a few minutes of inactivity and I have to press a button on it and then wait for about 5-10 seconds for it to connect.

Yes, I'll put this into todo list, I know the actual reason of this bug (my experiments with themes some time ago).

Can you tell me something about the new article navigation with hardware keyboard? I don't have one to test now. Does it work as expected?

Unfortunately, I couldn't utilize the arrow keys because they are in use by other ui elements.

    Ok, thanks in advance :)

Yeah, it does. Left/right buttons switch messages back and forth, hotkeys also work as described.

You mean the up/down keys? Yeah, I've noticed. Although they kinda work, but it
depends on whether there are elements, treated by echotag as links. If there aren't any of them - arrow buttons just scroll the message up and down for about half the screen.. which is btw _very_ convinient for me. But if there is for example a link somewhere at the bottom of a message - the down arrow will most likely scroll to it directly.
In this regard - it would be extra nice to have some couple of keys to scroll the message up and down by-line or maybe even better - by several lines. A and Z work ust fine scrolling by-page, but.. I don't know, for me personally it's kinda hard to read this way.. don't know why, but it is :)

    Hello, Sergey Poziturin.

One more question. About subj. I've allready asked it in netmail, but I'm afraid I accidentally purged the answer while still configuring echotag.
I couldn't find any info regarding subj neither in documentation, nor in faq. Could you, please, tell me how does it work? I guess it's a way of making your own twmplate for an echotag? But what should one write down there? What is the format, the keywords, etc..?

You can simply put some text there and it will be prepended to your article after you save it for sending. Just try it, compose a message and look at it in
    Outgoing folder.

FYI: custom template support is planned at about 2.15.

BTW, I've discovered just now - same thing goes with the block editing mode. I can scroll the blocks up and down with the corresponding arrow keys and when I press enter - it opens the "selected" block for text-editing, but.. once again,
like in the area-selection mode - the highlighting is invisible. If you make a highlighting visible there and also make some key like backspace or delete to remove the selected block.. man, it would be awesome! :) In this case - there will be virtually no need for a mouse at all.
