From Benny Pedersen@2:230/0 to All on Mon Dec 19 20:45:48 2016
    Hello All!

it fails for me, if no sdcard is installed it places the backup files on internal sdcard, this files cannot be uploaded to google drive :(

so if one does not have microsd installed, its not possible to move hotdoged over to another phone :/

    Regards Benny

that sounds like a phone OS problem... if you can plug the phone into a real computer and see the phone like a drive, you should be able to copy the files over and place them where you want to... if the OS prevents this, well... let us know so we don't fall into the same trap ;)

Backup goes to external memory anyway. The location of external memory is reported by Android as it's described on Android developers site.

I guess you can access your external memory directory via the built in file manager or by connecting your phone to pc/mac via the usb, can't you?

it works on android 2.3.x :=)

this is the real issue imho, hotdoged currently saves backup to virtual internal sdcard when external sdcard is not inserted, problems come from lollipop restrictions not allowing me to read in internal sdcard, so if it worked only buildtin filemanager could copy paste copy it to external sdcard, this aswell failed for me since my external sdcard was invalid at time of trying

    if the OS
prevents this, well... let us know so we don't fall into the same trap
    ;)

stay tuned, hope all problems is resolved in android 7 :=)

    nope

if no microsd inserted, then hotdoged saves backup to internal emulated0 sdcard, where only internal filemanager can copy paste it to external sdcard

i had a hardware fail on external sdcard, that is fixed by reformating the external sdcard

hotdoged works on "Denver TIQ-10203" tablet very stable
