Oh? I didn't know GvdL has released it free. <g>

    Also no windows version available.

I thought the install program automatically did a DPMI version? I
    could be wrong.

You can choose when you run ginstall. DPMI is not windows.

    Hello Bob!

Replying to a msg dated 15 Sep 16 11:17, from you to Tommi Koivula.

OK... I tried to test out GECHO and it does need a registration key. Bob can you still register GECHO? I'm wanting it for testing purposes mainly because it can toss in to PCBoard and the Old Wildcat.

I know I registered the program way back in the day as it was my main tosser for many many years. Can you please advise.

    Thanks

    Allen

Then use it in unregistered mode.

If it was registered under your name, I'd still need to know what your node number was at the time of registration, and who you registered it with. I have

all of Jim Smoot's files in regards to Gecho, so might be able to find your registered key.

Sorry, I won't accept registrations at this time, While I can run the registration generator, I have no where to send the payment, so I simply won't do it.

Hmm, so not giving it away then? Or at least making one general release key?

I have no way of contacting the author, plus I have no knowledge of anyone who might know of his wherebouts.

I do have the complete registration key generator as written by him, plus a compete history of legit registrations, but as I have no method of getting any $$ to him, I simply will not create registration keys, sorry.

It is not up to me to make such a decision!

    I would have either registered it under 1:2320/0 1 110 or 1:11/60

I don't recall who I registered it with though. After my TBI it's fuzzy.

GECHO will -not- function unregistered. It won't toss or scan :-(

I would gladly try to reserach what happened to the author.

Wow I won't be able to find a tosser that's bink-d compatible for wildcat or PCB very easily. Gecho is probably the best thing out there. I was overjoyed to see it supported wildcat. Shame that this effectively is putting the nail in it's coffin.

I found your original registration, if you want the results, please send me a direct (crash, not routed) netmail with your email address, and I'll send you what I found. Please note, it is NOT for GECHO 1.20, that's a different registration, and I did not look there.

Nor did I, as Gecho's former North American regsite. I believe there was a pirate crack for it, but that was long ago.
