    Hello Bob!

How are you getting along up there now that the other dogs have left the
    state?

I'm getting along as well as can be expected.

Why do you need to find homes for them? Am I missing something? Are
    you okay?

I'm terminal. I've lost 80% of normal kidney function and am losing more
at the rate of about 2% per month. Absent a minor miracle I'll be done by
the end of the year. The dogs are going to need homes

That was good news until I read further down. I don't know what to say, other than I'm shocked and I will miss you.

That would be a waste of a good kidney. My diabetes and hypertension will kill a new kidney just as they've killed the two I have. I've also

It's your life, but I still think you should try. I don't want to lose another friend this year.

I suffer from hypertention, too, which I believe was caused by my giving up cigarettes 30-years ago. My BP readings are all over the place, i.e., 200/100 - 140/70. My son-in-law is a diabetic.
