An organization called "People for Paws."
FYI on Wednesday a crew from the Siouxland Humane Society (in Sioux
City IA) came down and picked up twelve of my dogs. According to
them they have 100% adoption rate, so there's hope

That would be a waste of a good kidney. My diabetes and
hypertension will kill a new kidney just as they've killed the two
I have. I've also decided - subject to change (I'm a coward) - to
not do dialysis
It's your life, but I still think you should try. I don't want to loseanother
friend this year.up
I suffer from hypertention, too, which I believe was caused by my giving
cigarettes 30-years ago. My BP readings are all over the place, i.e.,200/100
- 140/70. My son-in-law is a diabetic.
To get back on topic a bit, I found a canine/feline retirement home
down in Lawson, Missouri (north and east of Kansas City). They'll
take all six of my remaining - somewhat geriatric - dogs
