The Truth About Your Future by Ric Edelman

If you do not believe in the singularity, this book may or may not
convince you, but I think it will convince you that a lot of exponential change is going on.

After reading Kurzweil (on your recommendation) I was impressed enough
that I shall try and get hold of a copy of this.

Some of us have more "future" than others :-), but all of us are going
to have to deal with some very large changes in the immediate future.

    Thanks for the recommendation, Charlie.

    Pete.

Ric Edelman... he used to have a financial-advice radio program on one of
the Washington, DC stations, one of the first with a website... he'd refer
to 'double-u, double-u, double-u dot Rice Delman dot com'.

The only other memory I have of him is his saying 'when I recommend a
stock keep in mind that I come to my conclusions based on the data I have.
If we have the same data then someone else can come to a different conclusion... and if I have other data, data that are not commonly
available, then I'm doing something called 'Insider Trading' and that, my friends, is against the law.'

I wonder if anyone made money by taking his stock advice?

Do you know if he was generally credible, Doc?

    Pete.

He runs a firm called Edelman Financial Services. He has written a lot
of books and he is very credible. His firm is my financial advisor and
I am very happy with the results. He still has his radio show and he
has had programs on the local PBS stations.

I first heard of him many years ago on the radio while traveling to play softball. I contacted several financial planning firms but I had very
little money to invest back them. His firm was the only one that got
back to me and was interested in taking me on as a client.

He's been around for a long while, Mr Dashwood, but I can't say anything
    about his financial advice.

One of my skills is being able to drive down a stock's price just by
making a mental investment in it.
