You are 100% correct. I see my kids and their use of social media apps like instagram and snapchat. When I try to explain that i used a network like fidonet when I was a kid they look at me weird. They can't comprehend that
one computer would call another using the telephone line to send mail all around the world.

It made me miss it, so I came back!
