You bet FidoNet still exists. Some echos are still pretty active. Some are sure not. I gather, from the Region 2 source from which you made this post, you probably are in Region 2. Thus a feed source from wherever in Europe you might hook up with isn't really a takeoff forward from Region 1 over here in the USA, grin. Since a huge part of FidoNet is now fed via IP connectivity via BinkP, TelNet or FTP connections or things like that, phone line costs aren't really the big issue it used to be. Ward will probably offer you comments - his venue is your arena!

True I am this BBS only seems to have echos up to have 29 fido echos from
Amiga to c_plusplus and I'm zone 3 not 2 good to see that there is still
some fido left
