Might anyone know where I can get a hold of timEd? I
searched the web and came across DDSdoors.org and
there was a file art_src.zip. While it is listed,
the file doesn't exist (404).
I don't suppose Gerard van Essen still frequent this group?
I have a directory full of artware files on the BBS. You can look for artware in the BBS group. TIM110.ZIP is Gerard's last timed release. TIM110P.ZIP for the OS/2 version and TIM110X.ZIP for the 386 version.

I haven't seen Gerard in these areas for a very long time now.

Would you happen to have the source files?

I have several versions here, including a 32bit windows version.

No. The last time I talked with him he was running a porn site and
getting rich!! Didn't have any further interest in FidoNet or TimEd.
Just need to remember where that y2k patch is.
Hah...hah...erm..Serious? Well, I sent an email to his last known
email (as noted in the readme file); but, it bounced. So guess
that's a moot point.
Anyway, glad to see you again! LTNS.
I got the source off Alan's ftp site but am realizing it's going to
be very
involved in building it for Linux and with my C programming skill
bad, it'll
take a long time.
Somewhere a version that compiles under Linux must be floating
around. I have an old copy of it. Compiles even under FreeBSD.
