    I think it was originally meant for all kinds of chat amongst and with folks in Alaska. These days it stays pretty dead as there are no boards in Alaska now. ---

    the one person i know of up there is over in france, IIRC, at this time... i think there may be one other but i don't know what kind of connectivity they may have any more...
