Sure does pay to check the local shopper rag. Recently picked up
a Ruger 10/22 50th Anniversary edition carbine. Unused
condition, less than three Franklins. Along with that, a CZ model
512, .22 WMR also unfired, for under four.
Plan on putting the CZ to work as a pest control device, should
suffice for everything from ground squirrels to coyotes. As for
the Ruger, an occassional shooter, to be sure, just like my US
Shooting Team 10/22. Probably not as accurate as that one, but
since I over paid for the USST version and definitely underpaid
for the 50th Anniversary, I figure I came out even...

Nice pickups! The 10/22's are always fun.
I think maybe 22WMR is a little light for use on coyotes, unless it's
very close range and a head shot is assured. I do love the round, but
don't think it's good enough for that critter.
